They've been married for three years and started dating in 2007, but
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have today announced the end of their
relationship. The former couple, who have a two-year-old son, Flynn,
together, say that the split is amicable and that they will continue to
support each other in raising their child.
Bloom's spokesperson said, "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and
Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the
past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to
formalise their separation. Despite this being the end of their
marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of
their son and as family."
After three years together the couple tied the knot in July 2010
before welcoming baby Flynn into the family six months later in January
2011. As well as the Vanity Fair Oscars bash in February, this year the
pair were photographed together at the opening night of Bloom's Broadway
play 'Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet' on September 19th, so it would
seem that they really are on good terms since ending their relationship.
Miranda even spoke about her now estranged husband's performance
gushing, "When I saw Orlando on Broadway in 'Romeo and Juliet', I was
blown away, For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy
to do it every day, six days a week - I have so much respect for him."
Another adorable A-list romance bites the dust!
